FAQ's 

The Braves organization is a youth tackle football and cheerleading organization based in Granite City, IL.  We are members of the Mississippi Valley Football League which includes 10 teams from surrounding communities.  

We have football teams available for kids as young as 5 years old (Tykes) up to 11U.  The same age groups are available for cheer.  No prior experience is necessary to sign up. 

Our organization takes player safety very seriously.  While injuries are always a risk for any sport, we take the necessary steps to ensure our players are protected from injury.  All of our head and assistant coaches are properly trained and certified by USA Football and focus on teaching safe tackling technique.  All equipment issued to players also meet the minimum standards set forth by USAF.
